I'm a wife

I'm a pretty good wife, if I do say so myself.  I'm just not a very good housewife.  OK, I'm a horrible housewife.  I don't do the dishes.  I rarely do the laundry, and the only time my house is truly clean is the day the exterminator comes.  Fortunately my husband is a neat-freak who needs to be needed.  So he is constantly picking up the slack, and for that I am forever grateful. :)

I'm a mom

I have two boys, Zachariah (age five) and Micaiah (age two). They are both sweet, ridiculously smart, hilarious and just all around awesome. Being a Mama to these boys is THE best thing in the world. I love them both to pieces and I thank God for allowing me to be their Mom!

I'm a (re)cook

My mom is a true southern cook.  Everything is from scratch and is her great-grandmothers recipe.  I'm a (re)cook.  Everything I make is really good, but I probably got it from the Pioneer Woman.  When it comes to cooking, I want to be super healthy but my taste buds keep getting in the way.

I'm a homeschooler

My siblings and I were home schooled for a few years in elementary school, so for as long as I can remember I just grew up assuming I would homeschool my own children. Thankfully I have been able to do just that! We are about to complete our first official year of homeschooling, so I still consider myself a newbie, but I am loving it so far. Hopefully I can get into the habit of sharing a few tips and tricks that I have found helpful in our homeschooling journey!
